Throughout the year 2023.....

In March we were privileged to hear the adventures of Mary, whom on her travels in the 60's and 70's became known as Mary Motorcycle.  Mary very kindly came to a well attended club night to share her story  of how a young lady in the 60's wishing to prove her mother wrong, travelled alone to far reach places such as India, Afghanistan, New Zealand and Australia, all on her 175cc Bantam.  A very eloquent speaker who with the use of photos spoke freely of her travels and how several times she was mistaken as a man,  as a tall individual travelling alone on a motorcycle.  A very enjoyable talk and huge thanks to Mary for giving up her evening for us.
