Throughout the year 2021.....

A chilly Bank Holiday Monday at Stubbington Fete

We enjoyed a good turnout at the Stubbington Fete on August Bank Holiday.  A chilly day but it didn't stop our enthusiasm.  The show seemed slightly smaller than usual,  after a "pandemic break" but it didn't deter spectators from admiring our stand with many reminiscing.

15 bikes were on show including a monkey bike, an AJS, an Aerial, a Triumph and a Tribsa.  One local chap even returned home to collect his Bantam after asking if he could include it in our stand.  Thanks to Jane for supplying the lovely rock cakes too.

July/August 2021 - Hants Branch Summer Camp

Eventually, we were able to enjoy our summer camp weekend.  Possibly the drought of events encouraged visitors to our event, but it was great to be able to welcome guests from far and wide with one visitor braving the elements all the way from West Yorkshire on his A65.  The weather had been very interchangeable on Friday, and whilst there was some rain on Saturday, we made our 55 mile rideout, led by Russ and Joe in the dry.  A great effort by all, with the king of raffles Pat and Ade, on form as always, a great quiz by Jo, wonderful homemade cakes from families who enjoyed the long overdue socialising at The Milburys.  Many thanks to all involved, not only the organisers but to all of our visitors and guests who made the weekend so enjoyable.

June 2021

Another lovely evening at the Milburys with a couple of good meetings since.  Dave Anderson has kindly agreed to lead a ride in on Thursday evening (17th June) - 7pm from Loomies cafe (A32).

April 2021

We're back!  Great to be back at the Milburys on Thursday evening for a socially distanced meeting.  A pleasant, albeit cold evening but well worth it to see a few of the bikes and great to see some of the stalwarts in person.  A new slimline Martin seemed genuinely pleased to see us, but not so pleased when we suggested some patio heaters. It certainly blew the cobwebs away for those who braved the chilly April air.

We have suggested an extra meeting for Thursday 29th April for those who want to catch up.

Looking forward to some great riding and gatherings.

January 2021

The current situation has prevented us from having our Annual General Meeting.  Your committee members have however agreed to continue with their present committee posts for the forthcoming months until we are in a position to all meet and have an official AGM.  We hope that is agreeable with all our members but if you have any concerns or challenges, please do contact me.
